2008 State Sale
The Iowa Spring Sale was held on March 15 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds, West Union with 84 lots averaging $3,294.05. Click here for the sale results.
Collin's Fund Update
Lot 1 at the Iowa Spring Sale, Korian Lou Havanna-ET, consigned by Brian & Koral Harbaugh was donated with one hundred percent of the auction price of $4,600 to begin a fund for the Iowa Juniors to help finance the 2014 National Junior Holstein Convention in Iowa. She was purchased by Mark Wilcox, Marcus. The juniors began accepting donations to Collin's Fund at the Iowa State Holstein Convention and as of March 15th have raised an additional $4,670. We are asking people to contribute $50 or more to try to match or exceed the Harbaugh’s generous donation in their son’s memory. Checks can be made out to the Iowa Junior Holstein Association "Collin’s Fund", and mailed to Matt Henkes, Junior Junior Treasurer, 18467 165th St, Luana, IA 52156. Click here for a donation form.
Junior Association Clothing Fundraiser
The juniors currently have eight different designs for t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts for sale. Click here for an order form. Thank you to Joanne Rauen and Envision Sports Designs (Tom Rauen) for all of their work on this project. This has been an excellent fundraiser for our juniors.
