2009 National Holstein Convention Update
Iowa won the Senior Division of the Dairy Bowl Contest. Congratulations to our team members - Jessie Hammerand, Jordan Hanson, Leah Henkes and Luke Rauen! Also, congratulations to Kyle Demmer for placing 2nd and to Matt Henkes for placing 3rd in the Intermediate Division of Dairy Jeopardy!
2009 Iowa Holstein Shows
The 2009 State Shows will be hosted by District 8 at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds on July 13 & 14. Cattle can arrive on July 12. State Show entries are due July 1. Iowa Holstein Auxiliary Scholarships Available
The Iowa Holstein Auxiliary is offering up to three $500.00 scholarships to youth who are active in the Junior Association and who are members of the Junior Association to be used to further their education in a field other than Dairy Science at a college of their choice. Completed applications should be mailed to Jeanne Hansen, 8617 Lincoln Rd, Hudson, IA 50643 by August 1.

Iowa Spring Sale

Junior Association Clothing Fundraiser
The juniors currently have eight different designs for t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts for sale. Click here for an order form. Thank you to Joanne Rauen and Envision Sports Designs (Tom Rauen) for all of their work on this project. This has been an excellent fundraiser for our juniors.
